Experience the Bourbon Trail with our exclusive Bourbon Tour!

Elkhorn Creek RV Park has teamed up with Kentucky Bourbon Boys to offer our guests a private tour that includes tours and tastings of some of the most famous Bourbon Distilleries along the Bourbon Trail. The tours include Woodford Distillery and a barrel tasting at Whiskey Thief Distillery, and a tasting and shopping at Buffalo Trace Distillery. The guide/driver will fill you in on the facts and lore of the area. The tour includes lunch at favorite local restaurant Limewater, snacks, and transportation in a comfortable van. This tour is offered every other Wednesday from May through October.

MILES OF ADVENTURE

The two forks of central Kentucky’s Elkhorn Creek join at Elkhorn Creek RV Park to form one of the state’s best-known streams for its beauty and fishing, canoeing and kayaking. From the Forks of Elkhorn to its end at the Kentucky River, Elkhorn Creek provides 17 miles of nature and adventure.

RV sites

We have an assortment of well-maintained sites for you to choose from that include full hook up sites, electric and water only sites, a few pull-thrus for easy access. and free Wi-Fi throughout the park. Children can play on the playground or test their golfing skills with our Putt-Putt golf.

One of the main reasons people love our property is our proximity to Elkhorn Creek and its activities. Some of our RV sites literally rest on the banks of the creek. This makes us an ideal location for people who love to kayak, canoe, fish and enjoy the sounds of the water.

"We loved our week at Elkhorn Creek RV Park! We have stayed in 5 campgrounds since mid August and Elkhorn is by far the best. We met several of the office staff as well as grounds keepers and ALL of them were so helpful and made several suggestions of things for us to see and do. Although we didn’t use it (too busy), the pool was large and clean, and the bathrooms are the best EVER!! Always clean, no matter what time of day I used them. Someone was always cleaning inside or outside or doing yard work most of the day. The sites were a little close, but all campers were friendly and respectful of others concerning noise, etc so it wasn’t a problem. We hated to leave, but needed to continue our adventure. We highly recommend and would definitely return!"
