Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer weekly rates?

Yes, We provide a 15% discount to each day when you make a reservation for 7 days or more. We provide a 15% discount to each day when you make a reservation for 7 days or more. This discount repeats itself every 7th day. Weekly rates apply from day 7 through day 30. No other discounts apply.

Do you offer monthly rates?

Yes, You must pay monthly in advance. No other discounts apply. You must make a $250 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if you do not provide 30 days notice of departure or you leave early on a 90 day reservation.

When do summer and winter rates apply?

Summer rates apply from April 1st through October 31st. Winter rates apply from November 1st through March 31st.

Do any other discounts apply?

We apply and honor a 10% discount for Good Sam, Military and 1st Responders. You must present a validly dated card to qualify.

May I make a reservation for multiple sites and apply my discount to each of those sites?

No, each site that is reserved must have a registered guest with a valid card to qualify for the discount.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations that are canceled more than 7 days in advance of arrival will be charged a $25 processing fee. Reservations cancelled less than 7 days in advance will be charged $50. Reservations that encompass a national holiday and are cancelled less than  30 days before arrival will be charged $100.

If we do cancel and are due a refund, how are refunds paid to us?

Refunds are processed immediately and will show up on your credit card statement within a few days.

What is the required deposit when a reservation is made?

A deposit of 100% of the reservation is required for all reservations at the time of booking. Monthly Reservations that are made more than 60 days into the future require a deposit of $250.

What happens if I am in your park and I have an emergency and must depart early?

Unfortunately, There are NO refunds for early departure for any reason…as we have reserved your site specifically for you.

What happens when I make a reservation and need to depart earlier than anticipated before I check in?

We will adjust the dates of your reservation accordingly and you will pay only for those dates of your intended stay. Once you make that payment, there will be NO refunds for early departure.

Do you charge for extra vehicles, trailers, adults or children in addition to the site rate?

Yes, we do. We provide a generous allowance per site. However, we do expect you to advise us and pay for other extras as they do create additional costs for us, whether it be in road and site maintenance, electricity and water usage or the housekeeping of our restrooms. We thank you in advance for your honesty.

Our charges in addition to your rig are as follows:

Do you have late check out available?

Late check out is available at certain times for a fee

of $20. This allows you to stay on your site until 5 PM. It is only available if your site is not

rented on the following day or there is a confirmed late check in on your site. We cannot

promise a late check-out until the day before it’s needed, as we rent daily.

Do your offer storage sites?

Yes, we do have a limited amount of storage and preference is given to guests who use our park. Storage is available in our gated yard with a gravel base at $2 per day for a minimum of 10 days or $60 per. Storage fees must be paid 90 in advance or placed on credit card monthly auto bill.

Do you have minimum rental periods?

Yes, all weekends are 2 night minimums. If a reservation falls on a Friday or Saturday, one other day must be booked in order to make it a 2 night reservation. We do accept 1 day rentals during the winter and on the day of the weekend in the winter, if we have any availability.

What about holidays?

All Holiday Periods include a $10 per day rate increase. The following holidays are a minimum 3 days. Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. We also have 2 day minimum Holiday Periods. They are Derby Weekend and the 2 middle weekends of October for Halloween.

Do your charge extra for holiday periods or in the summer?

Not necessarily, if you book your reservation well in advance, you will pay our base rate. However, if you wait until the last minute to pay for a site for one of the holiday periods listed above or during our winter season, you may be subject to higher daily rates. Our sites are priced much like the airline or hotel industry, where those who book early are offered the base rate and those rates are increased incrementally as our occupancy increases for any given day. We chose to leave our rates the same for the upcoming year, and any site increases would come by way of those who choose to book closer to the arrival date. We hope you understand.

Do you offer a shuttle to/from downtown or to/from the local distilleries?

No, we do not at the present time.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes, we offer group rates at certain times of the year. Please make a request and we will send you the Group Info Form with the name of your group, the anticipated number of rigs, your preferred dates of arrival and departure. A group is 10 rigs or more. Do you allow golf carts?

Yes, we do allow golf carts. They are to be driven on the internal roads only by licensed drivers at less than 10 MPH.

Do you allow tents?

Yes. However, you must have a rig on the site and the extra people that occupy the tent must be registered and paid. Site occupancy of 6 must not be exceeded.

Do you have cable TV?

Yes, we a have a cable system providing about 100 channels on most of our sites. Generally, the sites along the creek  do not have cable.

Do you WIFI?

Yes, we do have WIFI throughout the park. We have multiple towers throughout the park our bandwidth is distributed through these towers to the entire park. The closer you are to these towers, and the less interference you have with your rig, and the newer the device you are connecting, generally the better the service you will receive. We have a Basic service

that is free and it will give you the ability to check your email, surf the web, and other similar services. The speed is about 2.5 MB per second. We do have a premium service that will allow you to stream at speeds up to 5 MB per second available at an additional fee depending on the time period of your stay. Both the basic and the premium service have unlimited bandwidth.

Do you have a store?

Yes, we do have a store in our office where we stock many RV related necessity items. We do sell limited grocery items including ice, firewood and ice cream.  We also have a large selection of Tshirts, hoodies, ball caps and other park related paraphernalia.

Do you have fire pits or allow us to bring our own?

Yes, we do have fire pits on most of our sites. You may also bring your own fire pit if you so desire, ask staff member for what is acceptable.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, we have a pool. It is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Do you offer live music?

We generally have live music on holiday weekends, many Saturdays during the summer season, and at other times when we have artists in residence. Please check our music calendar for specific dates, talent and types of music that will be offered.

Do you have other events on your park?

We do sponsor special events from time to time and suggest you look at our calendar for an activity that might be of interest to you.

Do you have fishing?

Yes, you are allowed to fish in Elkhorn Creek. We do not have poles or bait on site, so bring your own.

What do you have for kids to do?

We have fishing in the creek. We also have a 9 hole Putt Putt Course, a large Playground, and a Volley Ball court. You may not let your children “run loose” in the park. We are not babysitters. You are responsible for the behavior and activity at all times.

Do you have hiking trails?

We do not at the present time.

Are you dog friendly and what is your dog park like?

You will find our dog park to be among the best that RVer’s have reported to us. It has both a large dog and small dog section with a gated double entry system to leash and unleash your dogs. We have a number of toys, jumps, stands, for your dogs to enjoy. We have a park bench and picnic tables for you to relax upon. Our dog park is fully fenced. Unfortunately, your animals are not permitted in any of our buildings, including the office, laundry, bathhouses, or activity center.

Do you have a laundry?

Yes, we have a small laundry. It has 4 dryers and 4 high efficiency washing machines. We have a bill changer in the laundry room and laundry detergent and bounce in the office.

Are your bathhouses clean?

An emphatic yes. Our campers have reported to us in in

numerous reviews available on the internet, that our bathhouses are some of the cleanest that

they have ever seen in a campground. Our bathhouse is rated a 10 by Good Sam’s Club.

Do you have cabins?

No.

Do you allow washing coach or trailer on site?

Yes, we do. You must purchase a wash permit at the office for $15.

What amenities do you have?

We have a fishing in Elkhorn Creek. We also have a 9 hole Putt Putt Course, a large Playground, Volley Ball court,. We generally have live music on holiday weekends, Saturdays during the summer season and at other times when we have artists in residence. Please check our music calendar for specific dates, talent and types of music that will be offered.

Do you have a gate?

We do not have a gate at the present time. We expect to begin construction on our new office complex at the front of the park in the summer of 2023 and as part of that construction we will be installing a gate. Every vehicle that enters the park will have to have its license plate registered as our system will only allow registered vehicles to enter the park. The gate will be operable 24/7.

Do you have a campfire or do you have any fire rings?

We do have fire rings on most sites and you will see that information contained in the site description on our web site. You are welcome to bring your own fire ring so long as it is off the ground.( ask office for particulars)
